AN/ALQ-172 Repair

The US Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the repair of AN/ALQ-172 Line Replaceable Units (LRU). The Government is looking for companies that possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for the repair of the listed NSNs/subassemblies. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor must also provide, maintain, and calibrate all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor’s facility. Some key points to consider include: • The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. • The Government does not own or have access to the full required repair data for the items listed in Table 1. • The Government has determined that this system is not a commercial item. • There is currently no Government funding available for reverse engineering to qualify a new repair source. • Contractors responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards.
