Description
The Town of Brookfield is seeking qualified contractors to replace approximately 30 existing sidewalk ramps with new ADA‑compliant concrete ramps featuring granite curbing. Work includes demolition of existing bituminous‑concrete ramps, installation of new cement‑concrete ramps, placement of new granite transition curbs, associated site‑work such as loam and seeding, environmental protection measures, traffic control, and full‑depth asphalt paving where required. The project is funded through the Massachusetts Community Development Block Grant program and is subject to prevailing‑wage, HUD Section 3, and Buy America requirements.
• Replace ~30 existing sidewalk ramps with new concrete ADA‑compliant ramps.
• Install new granite curbs and perform related site‑work (loam, seeding, environmental protection).
• Provide traffic control, flaggers, and uniformed officers for both concrete and asphalt phases.
• Follow prevailing‑wage (Davis‑Bacon) rates, HUD Section 3 labor targets, and Build America‑Buy America regulations.
