Arc Flash Study

The Narragansett Bay Commission is seeking a qualified vendor to update its Arc‑Flash Study across all NBC facilities, including wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and wind‑turbine sites. The work requires on‑site data collection, electrical system modeling (using SKM or equivalent), short‑circuit and coordination analyses, and production of updated arc‑flash reports and safety labels. Vendor must also provide a licensed electrician (or qualified technician) to install new hazard labels and comply with OSHA, NFPA 70E 2024, and IEEE Std 1584 standards. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with a single total price covering all labor, materials, permits, and incidentals. • Perform comprehensive arc‑flash analysis (update existing studies, create new studies where none exist). • Deliver detailed reports, revised one‑line diagrams, and new safety labels for each piece of equipment. • Provide all required documentation (permits, safety data sheets, insurance certificates) and ensure compliance with state and federal safety regulations.
