TRAFFIC SIGNAL REPLACEMENT AND INTERSECTION UPGRADES- PHASE 1

The City of Charlottesville is seeking bids for the Traffic Signal Replacement and Intersection Upgrades Project - Phase 1. The project includes the installation of traffic signal poles, foundations, and mast arm poles, conduits, junction boxes, traffic signal heads, pedestrian signal indicators, signage, ADA ramps, concrete sidewalk, pavement markings, and other traffic-related equipment. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, material, testing, and equipment for the construction of the project. The project must meet the specifications and requirements of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the City's Standards and Design Manual, and applicable ADA regulations. • The project includes multiple intersections and requires the installation of various traffic signal equipment and infrastructure. • The contractor must ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the project schedule and budget. • The City encourages the participation of small businesses, women-owned businesses, minority-owned businesses, and veteran-owned businesses in the project. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes, including those related to employment, safety, and environmental protection.
