Job Order Contract for General Construction (JOC 2601 through JOC 2605)

The County of San Mateo is seeking General Construction Contractors for Job Order Contracts (JOC) to perform various construction tasks within the county. The contract will have a term of one year, with a maximum contract value of $6,000,000. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the work. The county reserves the right to award up to five contracts. • The contractor must have a 'B' license and be authorized to do business in California. • The contractor must have a staffed office within the county or within 55 miles of the county center. • The contractor must have at least five years of experience as a prime contractor on projects of comparable quality, size, and complexity. • The contractor must have completed at least three projects of comparable quality, size, and complexity. • The contractor must be able to provide locally available trades staff to accomplish smaller, short-notice job orders within 24 hours.
