VALVE,SAFETY RELIEF

The United States Navy is soliciting bids for the procurement of a 1/4 inch relief valve, in accordance with Emerson drawing SW134 Revision H Interim Change 1, Type 2571T. The valve must meet specific material and testing requirements, including quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis, proof pressure, set pressure, blowdown, and seat tightness tests. The contractor must also provide a certificate of compliance, maintain a quality system, and perform welding and brazing in accordance with specified procedures. • The valve must be made of ASTM-A351, grade CF8 material. • The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance certifying that the items/components furnished under this contract comply with the requirements of the procurement document. • The contractor must maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001, with calibration system requirements of ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 with ISO-17025. • The contractor must perform welding and brazing in accordance with S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248 and S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278. • The contractor must provide a written request for concurrence for any changes to the qualified quality system.
