Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Albuquerque Area Office, Socorro Field Division is seeking to purchase two new 6-inch centrifugal pumps mounted on fully enclosed, DOT-compliant trailers. The pumps will be used for pumping water from natural and constructed sources into water trucks for dust abatement and supporting soil compaction activities. The contractor shall provide the pumps, which must meet specific technical specifications, including a minimum flow rate of 2,200 GPM and a total head of not more than 182 ft. The contractor is also responsible for delivery, setup, and orientation of the equipment.
• The pumps must be powered by a diesel engine with integrated sound-attenuating panels.
• The pumps must have a stainless steel impeller and a ductile iron pump housing.
• The contractor must provide a proposed delivery schedule within 28 days after contract award.
• The contractor must provide operational orientation for SFD/Reclamation personnel at the time of delivery and setup.
• The warranty period must be at least 12 months from the date of acceptance.
