Request for Proposals for Demolitions / Clearance

The Town of Lucama is seeking bids for the demolition and clearance of one house under the 2020 CDBG-NR Project. The successful bidder will be required to completely demolish the house structure, remove all debris and garbage, remove one tree stump, grade the site, and re-seed and hay the disturbed areas. The cost of dirt, disposal, labor, materials, permits, and insurance will be included in the lump-sum proposal. The project must be completed within 45 days from the Notice to Proceed. • The project involves the demolition of a house and the removal of debris and garbage. • The successful bidder must comply with all federal CDBG requirements and Section 109 and E.O. 11246. • The Town of Lucama is an equal opportunity employer and service provider. • Small, minority, and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids. • The project is funded by a $747,750 federal 2019 CDBG-NR grant. • The Town of Lucama reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids.
