Central Business District (CBD) Sewer Rehabilitation Unit 12 - Alameda Street to 18th Street (Re-Bid)

The City of Los Angeles is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of approximately 6,387 feet of an existing 40-inch circular brick sewer using Ultraviolet Cured In-Place Piping (UVCIPP). The scope of work includes rehabilitation of 20 maintenance hole structures, cleaning and disposal of debris, preparation of the sewer for UVCIPP liner installation, re-establishing lateral sewers and house connections, and temporary odor control, sewer bypass, and traffic control. The project requires a valid State of California Contractor's License Classification of "A". The bid documents are available on the Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement (RAMPLA) website. • The project is subject to the provisions of the Department of Public Works Project Labor Agreement and the City's Local Business Preference Program. • Bidders must abide by the requirements listed in the General Requirements, Section 01351 “Escrow Bid Documents.” • The City shall grant bid reductions to certified Local Business Enterprise (LBE) firms, Local Small Business (LSB) firms, and Local Transitional Employer (LTE) firms. • The project entails working with existing maintenance holes and rehabilitating the sewer system. • The bid submission deadline is September 2, 2026.
