Description
The Sports and Entertainment Events Fund was established by Chapter 73 of the Acts of 2025 to support major sports or entertainment events through a competitive grant program. The program is administered by the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism (MOTT). The fund is anticipated to award up to $10,000,000 in this funding round. Eligible applicants include public agencies, municipalities, tribal entities, or nonprofit organizations incorporated in Massachusetts. The application must be submitted online by April 28, 2026. The grant program will prioritize proposals based on viability, economic impact and need, clarity and vision, and geographic equity.
