The U.S. Navy is seeking a contractor to manufacture a venturi valve in accordance with General Dynamics Electric Boat Division drawing 2621-826-01, piece 8A. The valve must be made from material that meets the requirements of QQ-N-281, with mechanical properties in accordance with General Note 18. The contractor must maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 and provide certification that the items furnished under this contract comply with the requirements of the procurement document. Key requirements include: • The valve must be manufactured in accordance with the specified drawing and material requirements. • The contractor must maintain a quality system and provide certification that the items furnished under this contract comply with the requirements of the procurement document. • The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance that shows traceability to the marking applied on each individual item. • The contractor must maintain records of all inspections and tests and make them available for review by the government representative.
