UV LIGHT CURING SYSTEM ANTON PAAR MCR 502 WESP STRESS CONTROLLED SHEAR RHEOME AND INSTALLATION

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate with Anton Paar for the purchase of a UV Light Curing System for an existing Anton Paar MCR 502 WESP Rheometer. The system must enable simultaneous UV irradiation and rheological testing with temperature control and calibrated wavelength and intensity options. The sole source determination is based on the need to purchase an optical accessory for the existing rheometer, and Anton Paar is the only known vendor who can provide the required accessory. The project involves the installation of the UV light-curing system and training for the users. • The system must be compatible with the existing Anton Paar MCR 502 WESP stress-controlled shear rheometer. • The system must enable simultaneous UV irradiation and rheological testing with temperature control and calibrated wavelength and intensity options. • The system must be installed and trained by the vendor. • The project has a 10-year life for the UV accessory.
