Description
The San Bernardino County Flood Control District is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a CNG Powered Speed Loader, furnished in quantities ordered at times needed by the successful vendor. The speed loader should meet the minimum specifications outlined in the bid document, including a 15-liter CNG engine, an Allison 4500 RDS series transmission, and a Beau-Rock 24' maximum length special body. The vendor should also provide operation and maintenance training to designated personnel. The bid document includes a detailed description of the required specifications, terms, and conditions.
• The speed loader should have a minimum of 500 hp and 1800 lbs. of torque.
• The transmission should be an Allison 4500 RDS series with on/off highway performance design.
• The body should be a Beau-Rock 24' maximum length special body with a 3/16” T-1 floor and 12-gauge high tensile sides.
• The crane should be a Palfinger Epsilon model # M13A-89 with a minimum reach of 29 feet and a maximum capacity of 8,500 lbs.
• The vendor should provide a minimum of 8 hours of classroom and 8 hours of field training.
