HLD-OTHR Transmit Sub-system Sole Source Notification

The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) intends to enter into a sole source contract with Continental Electronics Corporation (CEC) for a specialized sub-scale transmit sub-system for an Over the Horizon Radar (OTHR) sub-scale system. The contract will involve the development, installation, and testing of the sub-system. The period of performance is approximately 22 months. • The sole source procurement is due to CEC being the only source capable of delivering the required sub-system within the Government’s required timeline. • The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” • The NAICS code for this opportunity is 334511.
