New SEI Industries, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) "Dragon Eggs" Aerial Ignition Spheres

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service is seeking information from vendors who can provide SEI Industries, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) "Dragon Eggs" Aerial Ignition Spheres. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify qualified sources capable of providing these items. The spheres are used in aerial ignition devices for prescribed burns and wildfire incidents. The vendor should be able to provide the spheres to multiple Incident Support Caches nationwide. Some key points to consider include: • The spheres must be compatible with Red Dragon dispensers, which are listed as approved devices in the National Wildfire Coordinating Group's (NWCG) Wildland Fire Aerial Ignition Operations PMS 501. • The vendor should have the capability to provide an estimated 3,000 cases per year. • The vendor must be authorized as a certified 3rd party vendor or authorized distributor by SEI Industries. • The response to this Sources Sought Notice should include a capability statement, company information, and proof of authorization from SEI Industries.
