Description
The Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, is seeking a qualified source to repair the RF Controller for the F-16 C/D AN/APG-68 Radar Dual Mode Transmitter. The offeror must demonstrate the ability to repair the item to conform to government requirements as prescribed within the ESA-approved engineering/technical data package. The offeror must provide a complete data package, including all procedures, drawings, and specifications. The offeror must also provide a qualification test plan and submit to a form, fit, and function evaluation to demonstrate compatibility with the weapon system.
• The RF Controller is used in the F-16 C/D AN/APG-68 Radar Dual Mode Transmitter.
• The offeror must have the required facilities and equipment to repair, inspect, test, package, and store the item.
• The offeror must provide a complete set of drawings for the similar item and written proof to show that the similar item was provided to the original equipment manufacturer or DoD.
• The estimated likely costs for testing and evaluation to become qualified are $5000.
• The estimated time to complete the qualification effort is 270 days.
