Informal Bid Request – Community Resource Yard Fence Installation

The City of Grand Terrace is requesting bids for the installation of a wooden split rail fence at the Community Resource Yard. The scope of work includes furnishing and installing approximately 78 linear feet of 2-rail wood split rail fencing, layout and alignment of the fence, post hole digging and setting, and site cleanup upon completion. The contractor will be responsible for verifying field conditions and measurements, protecting adjacent materials, and conducting work safely within the designated work area. The project is subject to California prevailing wage requirements, and the contractor must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. • The contractor must provide a total lump sum price for the work. • The contractor must have an active California Contractor License (Class A or C-13 preferred, but B is fine). • The contractor must be DIR registered. • The contractor must provide insurance (standard GL, workers comp). • The contractor must include all costs necessary to complete the work, including prevailing wage, mobilization, materials, labor, and incidentals.
