Description
Northwestern State University is seeking bids for the replacement of the roof at their Shreveport campus. The project includes the removal of existing roofing materials, installation of new roofing materials, and repair of damaged areas. The contractor will be responsible for protecting all existing conditions and repairing any areas damaged during demolition and removal. The project must be completed within 75 consecutive calendar days.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Removal of existing 2-ply SBS modified bitumen roof and architectural shingles
• Installation of new fully-adhered 80 mil TPO roof and CertainTeed Landmark architectural shingles
• Repair of damaged areas, including coping stones and cornice stones
• Installation of new metal cricket behind roof hatch
• Coordination with the designer and user agency to ensure a successful project
