PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES

The US Navy is seeking a vendor to provide pressure reducing valves for the USS ESSEX. The vendor shall provide 2 - 1” H style reducing valves, 3 - 1 1/2” H style reducing valves, and 6 - 2” H style reducing valves. The valves must meet specific minimum specifications and characteristics, including reducing seawater pressure from 175 psi to 50 psi, having a bronze body, Silbraz union end, K-Monel trim, and U/E O-Ring and retaining ring. The vendor shall also provide installation and operation testing, and delivery is FOB Destination by traceable means to USS ESSEX, Naval Base San Diego. • The vendor shall submit an invoice that meets the invoicing requirements contained in FAR 52.212-4(g). • The vendor shall provide the manufacturer and model number of the equipment, as well as the manufacturer specification sheet or suitable technical data to verify that it meets the minimum specifications. • The vendor shall ensure that all contractor personnel performing pick-up and delivery services at Naval Base San Diego have current Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) registration and certification.
