The City of Valdosta is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and dispose of an existing concrete slab, foundation, footings, and demolition debris at 2015 W Hill Ave. The work must be performed while protecting an adjacent occupied hotel, handling any asbestos‑containing or suspect material, and restoring the site to a safe, graded condition within a tight 30‑day schedule. • Remove concrete slab, footings, and all demolition debris; backfill, compact, grade, and stabilize the area. • Locate, protect, cap, or coordinate disconnection of all utilities serving the slab area before work begins. • Review and comply with the attached asbestos inspection report; if ACM is encountered, halt work and engage a Georgia‑licensed asbestos abatement contractor. • Provide site safety measures (barricades, signage, dust control) and ensure no disruption to the neighboring hotel’s operations. • Supply all required permits, maintain required insurance, and indemnify the City; work must be completed within 30 calendar days of contract execution.
