Metal Culvert Pipe

The Boone County Purchasing Department is seeking bids for a term and supply contract for metal culvert pipe. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. The successful bidder will be required to provide metal culvert pipe in various sizes and coatings, including poly coated, zinc coated, and aluminized. The pipe will be used for various road and bridge projects within Boone County. • The contract will require the successful bidder to provide pipe in lengths of 24 feet, unless otherwise specified. • The bidder must be able to deliver the pipe within 21 calendar days of receipt of order. • The bidder must be able to provide lifting lugs that are bolted to the pipe using a 3 ½” x 3 ½” x ¼” angle x 12” long with a 3” x 3” x ½” backing plate. • The bidder must be able to provide a base price for the pipe, as well as monthly price adjustments based on the CRU Report for Hot Rolled (HR) steel.
