115 kV V-Type Switch 3000 Amp Manually Operated Getchell Switching Station Non-MID (Rebid)

The Snohomish County PUD is seeking a vendor to provide a 115 kV V-Type Switch 3000 Amp Manually Operated Getchell Switching Station Non-MID. The switch must meet the requirements outlined in the specification document, including design, manufacture, and testing. The vendor must provide a complete proposal, including design and construction details, and must comply with all applicable regulations and standards. • The switch must be designed and manufactured in accordance with the specification document. • The switch must meet the requirements for outdoor horizontal upright or vertical mounted, group operated 115 kV disconnect switches. • The switch must have a maximum temperature rise at rated current of 530C. • The switch must have a frequency of 60Hz. • The switch must have an impulse withstand BIL of 550kV. The project requires the vendor to provide a manually operated switch with a group operating mechanism for three-phase operation from ground level. The switch must be designed to operate satisfactorily under a deposit of hard ice 3/4 inch thick, and must have a sufficient mass of high thermal conductivity metal immediately adjacent to the contact surfaces to preclude the possibility of contact welding or damage.
