Description
Portage Public Schools is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to repair and resurface the tennis courts at Portage Central High School and Portage Northern High School. The scope of work includes thoroughly cleaning the existing court surface, preparing and repairing cracks, filling cracks with repair patch binder, repairing minor depressions and rough surface areas, applying coats of acrylic filler coat binder, and applying color acrylic surfacing material. The contractor must provide unit prices for potential additional repairs and a minimum one-year warranty covering workmanship and materials for the acrylic court surface system.
• The project involves repairing and resurfacing 10 tennis courts at each of the two high schools.
• The contractor must demonstrate experience in athletic court resurfacing projects of similar scope.
• The contractor must provide at least three references for projects completed within the past five years.
• The contractor must maintain minimum insurance coverage throughout the duration of the project.
• The contractor must comply with the Michigan Iran Economic Sanctions Act and certify that it is not an "Iran linked business".
