MULTIPLE INTERSECTIONS IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Charlottesville is seeking bids for the Multiple Intersections Improvements project, which consists of three VDOT intersection improvement projects: the Monticello 2nd Intersection Project, the 10th and Grady Bike Pedestrian Improvements Project, and the Preston and Harris Intersection Project. The project involves constructing pedestrian improvements, signal work, and ADA curb ramp improvements at various intersections. The contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, equipment, labor, and materials to complete the work as described in the specification/scope of work. • The project requires the contractor to perform work on multiple intersections, including the Monticello 2nd Intersection, 10th and Grady, and Preston and Harris. • The contractor must ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the City's specifications and regulations. • The project includes a pre-bid meeting, which is non-mandatory but strongly recommended. • The contractor must submit all required insurance and bonds prior to commencing work. • The project has a scheduled completion date of November 27, 2026.
