Stock Class 3 Reinforced Concrete pipe With Gasket

The City of Newport News is seeking bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver Class 3 reinforced concrete pipe in various sizes for use by the City. The intent of this solicitation is to establish a term contract with a qualified vendor to provide these materials at competitive pricing while ensuring high quality and timely delivery to support the City’s ongoing maintenance, repair, and construction activities. The contract will be for a term of one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods. The City requires a reliable and consistent source for the supply and delivery of Class 3 reinforced concrete pipe to support ongoing infrastructure maintenance, repair, and construction projects. • The contractor shall maintain adequate inventory levels or supply chain capacity to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. • The contractor shall confirm receipt of each order within one business day, stating anticipated delivery date and any required coordination for transportation. • The contractor shall furnish only the reinforced concrete pipe and gasket products specified in this solicitation unless written authorization is provided by the Office of Purchasing. • The contractor shall coordinate all delivery appointments with the City staff member listed on the purchase order. • The contractor shall provide certifications of compliance, product data sheets, and test results verifying compliance with the standards listed in the solicitation.
