SSN – SIG SAUER MCX 5.56 Rifles and Accessories (Phase II)

The City of Hialeah Police Department intends to issue a sole source solicitation to procure SIG SAUER MCX 5.56 rifles, suppressors, and optical systems. This procurement is part of the second phase of the patrol rifle standardization project, and the Department seeks to maintain consistency in operations, training, and maintenance. The proposed contract action is for products or services for which the City intends to negotiate and award with only one contractor/vendor. • The procurement will be conducted in accordance with Section 26 of the City of Hialeah Purchasing Manual. • The City has verified that Dana Safety Supply, Inc. is the sole authorized law enforcement distributor in Florida for the specified products. • The Department previously standardized on this platform, and continuing procurement through the same authorized vendor ensures full compatibility with existing weapons, accessories, training, and maintenance programs.
