Sole Source to General Tool Company for Tear Down and Inspection of Lift Fan Impeller Assemblies per attachments

The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) is seeking a sole source contractor to perform tear down and inspection of Lift Fan Impeller Assemblies for the LCAC100 class hovercraft. The contractor will be required to perform a test, teardown, and evaluation (TT&E) of two compromised GEN1 Lift Fan Impeller Assemblies and inspect each Impeller Blade's Fastener Joints and Leading Edges. The contractor must also document all inspection findings in a report. The key requirements of the job include: • Performing a test, teardown, and evaluation (TT&E) of two compromised GEN1 Lift Fan Impeller Assemblies • Inspecting each Impeller Blade's Fastener Joints and Leading Edges • Documenting all inspection findings in a report • Adhering to NAVSEA drawings 2488592542 and 2488592247 The contractor must also provide a Capabilities Statement, Proof of past performance for similar work, and a cage code as part of their quote.
