Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking to add 381 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) to an existing long-term strategic sole source contract with Pratt & Whitney. The contract requires the supply of parts as well as planning/forecasting, inventory management, engineering management, and field engineering support. The NSNs are currently under technical review, and any items identified as competitive will be removed. The contract has about four years remaining and a possible option of four additional years.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Supplying parts to support the contract
• Providing planning/forecasting, inventory management, engineering management, and field engineering support
• Meeting the terms of the contract, including FOB Origin with Inspection and Acceptance at Source
• Complying with the originally approved Justification and Approval (J&A) for the contract
• Ensuring that all supplies furnished under the contract meet the required specifications and standards.
