Description
The Department of Transportation, State Equipment Fleet, is seeking competitive proposals to rebuild two State-owned Caterpillar Motor Graders. The contractor will provide expertise, equipment, resources, and materials necessary to establish fully functioning Motor Graders to support the mission of the Maintenance and Operations Department. The scope of work includes performing Caterpillar Certified Rebuilds, inspecting and evaluating the machines, incorporating engineering improvements, and testing and updating components to Caterpillar Certified Rebuild Standards. Proposals must include a cost proposal, and the state will evaluate proposals based on factors such as understanding of the project, management plan, experience and qualifications, and cost.

• The contractor must be a Caterpillar Certified dealer.
• The rebuilds must be performed in accordance with Caterpillar Certified Rebuild Standards.
