The City of Cleveland’s Division of Water is seeking qualified vendors to supply, test, paint, and deliver a full line of large‑diameter gate valves (20‑ to 54‑inch) and associated appurtenances for its water‑distribution system under a one‑year requirement contract. The contract will be awarded on a lowest‑price and best‑value basis, with delivery lead‑time a mandatory evaluation factor. Bidders must comply with extensive AWWA, ASME, ASTM, and MSS standards, provide hydrostatic testing, fusion‑bonded epoxy coating, and lead‑free material certification, and furnish the required bid and performance bonds.
• Supply square‑head gate valves (20‑, 24‑, 30‑, 36‑, 42‑, 48‑, 54‑inch) with MJ ends, plus operating nuts, valve boxes, bypass valves, actuators, gearboxes, and related hardware.
• Meet technical standards (AWWA C500, C509, C515, C550, C606; ASME B16.1, B16.5; ASTM A126, A193, A194, A276, A536; ASTM D2000, F593, F594; MSS SP‑9) and provide factory testing and epoxy coating.
• Deliver to CWD Central Warehouse in Newburgh Heights, OH with 24‑hour advance notice; include warranty, inspection rights, and tax‑exempt invoicing.
