Sole Source Request for Reading Apprenticeship Professional Learning Services

The Region 9 Education Cooperative is seeking to purchase Reading Apprenticeship professional learning services from WestEd. The services include Reading Apprenticeship Essentials I and II, coaching, and Leading for Literacy. The goal is to support teachers and administrators in implementing the New Mexico Statewide Literacy Framework and Instructional Scope. The services will be provided over a period of 8 months, from November 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. • The services will be delivered through in-person sessions, including 3-day live institutes and half-day coaching sessions. • The services will be facilitated by certified Reading Apprenticeship consultants. • The goal is to improve student literacy and overall test scores. • The services will be tailored to meet the needs of secondary teachers and administrators. • The services will include support for district-wide horizontal and vertical curricular alignment, as well as guidance on the sequencing of standards at the local level.
