Hampton Street's Sixteen Restroom Renovations

The Richland County is seeking electronic bids from qualified Contractors to provide the renovation of sixteen restrooms located at 2000 and 2020 Hampton Street, Columbia, South Carolina. The project includes mobilization, bonds and insurance, existing conditions/demolition, woods, plastics, and composites, thermal and moisture control, openings, finishes, specialties, furnishings, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and operations management. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment and performing all operations in connection with the installation. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding employment practices, equal opportunities, industry and safety standards, performance, and any other requirements as may be relevant to the requirements of this solicitation. • The contractor must provide a drug-free workplace by publishing a statement notifying employees that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession, or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in the contractor's workplace. • The contractor must comply with the applicable requirements of Title 8, Chapter 14, and include in their contracts with subcontractors language requiring the subcontractors to comply with the applicable requirements of Title 8, Chapter 14. • The contractor must comply with the County's Commercial Nondiscrimination Policy as described under its Commercial Nondiscrimination Ordinance, Section 2-647.
