The Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections (IDJC) seeks vendors to supply new, machine‑washable weighted blankets (and optional covers) for its juvenile correction centers in Lewiston and Nampa. The blankets must meet specific weight, size, material, and safety specifications, including a polyester or canvas duvet outer cover with temperature‑regulating properties. Vendors must provide a completed price sheet, specifications checklist, and signature page, and must carry required insurance and certifications. The contract may be awarded on an all‑or‑none basis or per‑center, with a potential five‑year term (renewable once).
• Supply weighted blankets in three size/weight configurations (15 lb – 48”×72”, 15 lb – 60”×80”, 20 lb – 60”×80”) and optional covers.
• Meet detailed product specifications (glass micro‑bead or cotton filling, stitched seams, neutral colors, machine‑washable).
• Deliver within 30 days of each order, provide insurance certificates within 5 business days of award, and comply with Idaho’s contract terms, including the No Public Funds for Abortion Act.
