North Glynn Restroom Upgrades

The Glynn County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the renovation of restrooms at the North Glynn Recreation Complex. The project includes the renovation of men's and ladies' restrooms at the baseball complex, softball complex, and football/soccer complex. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing all materials, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the project. The project timeline is 90 days from the notice to proceed, and the ideal project start timeframe is mid-to-late November, with completion by mid-to-late February. The vendor must inform the county of the work schedule prior to the issuance of the notice to proceed. Key aspects of the project include: • Demo of all flooring, countertops, partitions, lights, mirrors, toilets, sinks, valves, and other items • Repair of drywall damage and prep for painting • Installation of new LED light fixtures, smoke detectors, GFI outlets, and exhaust fans • Installation of new commercial grade toilets, sinks, and faucets • Replacement of entry doors and hardware • Installation of new granite countertops and undermount sinks • Replacement of partitions and doors with solid plastic panels • Installation of new hand dryers, soap dispensers, and toilet paper dispensers • Installation of new grab bars and changing stations The county expects all restroom facilities to be open for use on or before March 1, 2027.
