Description
The Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the replacement of HVAC units at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center. The project includes replacing existing HVAC units in Buildings 506, 523, and 524 with new units, and the work will need to be phased and coordinated with the facility as these buildings will be occupied during the construction period. The approximate cost for construction of the project is $750,000.00.
• The project location is Lufkin State Supported Living Center, 6844 US Highway 69 North, Pollock, TX 75969.
• A mandatory jobsite visit is required, with two scheduled tours available on March 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Central Time and March 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time.
• An optional pre-proposal webinar will be held on Friday, March 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time.
• The project is subject to Texas Government Code, Section 2155.144(b-2) and Chapter 2269, Subchapter D.
