Description
The County of Fairfax is seeking pre‑qualified contractors to execute Phase 2 of the Chesterbrook Road Walkway project, which includes extensive civil‑engineering work along a tributary of Little Pimmit Run. The scope covers sidewalk installation, utility relocations, stream restoration, storm‑water works, land clearing, tree removal, and associated paving and signage.
• 1,900 linear feet of sidewalk, curb, and gutter on Chesterbrook Road (Maddux Lane to Forest Lane)
• 2.6 acres of clearing and grubbing, including removal of 102 trees
• 275 linear feet of Fairfax Water line relocation at Chesterbrook Rd & N. Albemarle St
• 976 linear feet of stream restoration across three reaches of Little Pimmit Run, with landscaping
• 2,700 linear feet of storm‑water infrastructure, plus asphalt paving, signage, and site restoration
