ITB 2025-017 Idlewood Road Roundabouts at Fellowship Road and Sarr Parkway

The City of Tucker is seeking bids for the construction of roundabouts at the intersections of Idlewood Road and Fellowship Road, and Idlewood Road and Sarr Parkway. The project includes traffic control, erosion control, clearing and grading, and various pedestrian and roadway safety improvements. The intersections will be reconfigured to roundabouts, bike lanes and sidewalks will be realigned, and turn radii will be improved to increase safety and reduce the chance of collisions. Key aspects of the project include: • Construction of roundabouts at two intersections • Traffic control and erosion control measures • Clearing and grading of the project area • Realignment of bike lanes and sidewalks • Improvement of turn radii for safety • Installation of signage and pavement markings The project requires the contractor to maintain positive and adequate drainage at all times within the project limits, and to ensure that no construction-related activities occur in the critical root zone of existing trees to remain in the right of way.
