Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine if other companies are capable of manufacturing the Decoupler Carrier Assembly, NSN 2835-01-003-8996. The item is currently manufactured by Honeywell International Inc and Thomas Instrument Inc. Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to manufacture this item are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice. The response should include an application package through the Source Approval Request (SAR) Program, which contains all the technical data needed to demonstrate that the prospective contractor can competently manufacture the product to the same level of quality as the required item. Key points to consider include:
• The item's technical design and performance requirements
• The supplier's ability to meet these requirements
• The supplier's quality management system
