This Navy solicitation seeks the supply of a shipboard “disk, valve” (poppet) classified as Special Emphasis Material (Level I). The contractor must provide the part in accordance with specific drawings (e.g., Marotta drawing 284591‑0001 Item 14) and material specifications (SAE AMS‑QQ‑S‑763, classes 304/316). The award will be based on the lowest total price that includes the optional quantity provision (365 days after award). The contract imposes extensive quality‑assurance requirements: non‑destructive testing, intergranular corrosion testing, welding/brazing qualifications, traceability, certification of material heat‑lot, and a Certificate of Compliance. All certifications, welding procedures, and quality‑system documentation (ISO‑9001, MIL‑I‑45208, etc.) must be submitted via the Navy’s Electronic Contractor Data Submission (ECDS) system before work begins. The material is subject to a one‑year warranty from delivery, and the Government may exercise a 365‑day option for additional quantity without a new solicitation.
