Resin

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids for the procurement of resin pellets. The pellets should be thermo-plastic resin (TPR) compounds used for direct injection molding of canvas shoe soles. The specifications include requirements for shore A hardness, elongation, density, tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and tear strength. Bidders must provide a sample of the product prior to award, and the TDCJ reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. • The TDCJ will evaluate bids based on price, bidder's previous record of performance and service, quality and conformance to specifications, and other best value factors. • The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. • The TDCJ reserves the right to terminate the contract if funds are not available. • Bidders must comply with all rules, regulations, and statutes relating to purchasing in the State of Texas. • The TDCJ will not be bound by any oral statement or representation contrary to the written specifications of this Invitation for Bids (IFB).
