Description
The City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge is seeking bids for the construction of the Perkins Road Overpass project. The project includes grading, earthwork, drainage structures, subsurface drainage, base course, PCC pavement, concrete curbs, ADA ramps, gravel parking, planting, signage, furnishings, street lighting, and associated items of work. The project has a minimum EBE goal of 14% of the contract amount. Bidders must comply with all provisions of the State Licensing Law for Contractors and hold an active license issued by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors in the classification of HIGHWAY, STREET AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION.
• The project requires a Certified Check or Cashier's Check, payable to the Parish of East Baton Rouge or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.
• Bidders must submit EBE Forms 1, 1A, and 2, and Letters of EBE Certification, as appropriate within 10 days after bid opening.
• The project has a bid opening date of April 28th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Local Time.
• Electronic bids and electronic bid bonds for the solicitation will be downloaded by the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge, Purchasing Division.
