NASA Industry Day Announcement for TDRS Backwards Compatible Satellite Relay Services

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is hosting an Industry Day to gather information from commercial industry partners about their ability to provide backwards compatible satellite relay services for missions currently reliant on the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS) system. The event will include an unclassified group briefing and one-on-one meetings with NASA representatives. Companies interested in participating must register by January 16, 2026, and provide specific information about their approach to providing TDRS backwards compatible services. • The event will be held in-person only at NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) on January 26-27, 2026. • Attendance will be limited to two participants per company, and NASA reserves the right to further limit attendance if necessary. • One-on-one meetings will be 45 minutes long and may be classified as needed. • Companies must submit a brief abstract describing their approach to provide TDRS backwards compatible services, and NASA will provide instructions for abstract submission with each RSVP confirmation.
