The Department of Environmental Protection is seeking to enter into a sole source agreement with Centrifuge-Systems LLC (Centrisys) for the purchase of Centrisys centrifuges and parts. The Bureau of Wastewater Treatment has dozens of Centrisys dewatering centrifuge systems in its several wastewater resource recovery facilities for processing and treatment of wastewater in those facilities. These centrifuge parts are needed to replace those that are depleted, worn out, and can no longer be used to ensure proper maintenance and smooth operation of the sludge dewatering centrifuge systems. • The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment as required for the manufacture and complete delivery of all Centrisys Dewatering Centrifuge Parts specified herein this Contract. • The contractor shall provide all qualified labor and mobile high loader, crane, or other equipment necessary with NYC licensed operator, if necessary, for the satisfactory delivery and unloading. • The contractor shall take all precautions necessary to prevent damage to any existing equipment during delivery of the equipment and parts. • The contractor shall not interfere with the normal operation of the plant. • The contractor shall coordinate his work, including delivery schedules, with the Plant Superintendents and their representatives.
