Description
The Jefferson County Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified consulting engineering firm to provide full‑service design and limited construction engineering support for the Harness Road Bridge Replacement over Plattin Creek. The scope includes preliminary and final plans, right‑of‑way and easement plats, technical specifications, cost estimating, field surveys, and optional archaeological or environmental studies, as well as construction phase services such as site inspections, project management, and review of shop drawings. Interested firms must submit a four‑page Letter of Interest (LOI) and a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) by the September 25, 2026 deadline. Selection will be based on experience, team competence, capacity, and past performance.
• Bridge replacement project length: 0.094 mi; estimated construction cost $2.4 M.
• Required services: design (preliminary/final plans, specs, cost estimate), right‑of‑way/ easement plats, field surveys, environmental/archaeological studies, construction engineering (inspections, project management, shop‑drawing review).
