On-Call Institutional Glass Replacement Services

The County of Lexington is seeking a vendor to provide on-call institutional glass replacement services for the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department. The contract will be for an initial 2-year period with the option to extend for 3 additional 1-year periods. The vendor will be required to provide removal and installation of security and non-security glass, including specialized attack-resistant glass-clad polycarbonate laminates. The vendor must also have access to a variety of glass products and be able to provide a quick response time for frequently replaced glass. • The scope of work includes removal of old security glass, installation of new security glass, removal of old non-security glass, and installation of new non-security glass. • The vendor must have all necessary licenses and certifications to perform the work. • The vendor must provide a complete and detailed proposal, including all specifications and qualifications. • The vendor must have a good reputation and references from previous clients. • The vendor must be able to provide a quick response time for frequently replaced glass.
