Description
The Town of Hempstead’s Planning and Economic Development Department is seeking qualified architectural firms or individual practitioners to serve as on‑call consultants for a variety of community‑development projects, including façade renovations, downtown revitalization, and other town‑initiated improvements. Selected firms will prepare concept designs, develop construction documents, supervise field work, and manage payment schedules under a one‑year contract with a possible one‑year extension. Proposals must include staff resumes, fee schedules (with multipliers), relevant project experience in Nassau and Suffolk counties, and four hard‑copy copies submitted by the deadline. Minority‑ and women‑owned businesses are encouraged to apply.
• Scope: Conceptual design, plan/spec preparation, bid document creation, field supervision, payment schedule preparation, site‑plan review.
• Contract term: 1 year (option for an additional year at the Town’s discretion).
