Aircraft Electrical Component Test Stand (AECTS) Upgrade

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a contractor to upgrade the Aircraft Electrical Component Test Stand (AECTS) at the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The AECTS is used to test Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) and Generators for USCG aircraft. The contractor will be required to perform an upgrade solution to modify the system to use a non-obsolete analog I/O communication. The contractor will also be required to provide a certified technician to perform the upgrade, calibrate the AECTS, and conduct confidence runs. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, parts, tools, and labor necessary to fulfill the requirements of the purchase order. • The contractor must be the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the AECTS or an authorized distributor of the OEM. • The contractor must provide a certified technician to perform the upgrade and calibrate the AECTS. • The contractor must provide all materials, parts, tools, and labor necessary to fulfill the requirements of the purchase order. • The contractor must perform all work at the ALC facility in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. • The contractor must comply with all local base regulations, instructions, directives, orders, and special procedures as promulgated by the Commanding Officer, USCG Base Support Unit.
