The Department of State Hospitals (Metropolitan) seeks a qualified contractor to provide dance‑educator services—including therapeutic dance workshops, lesson planning, special events support, and related training—to adult patients with mental‑health diagnoses across multiple state hospital facilities. The work is performed by the contractor’s direct employees (no subcontractors) and requires compliance with extensive background, health‑screening, and security protocols. The contract runs from early September 2026 through June 30 2029, with an estimated maximum cost of roughly $146 k at a capped hourly rate of $85.
• Conduct up to 12 hours per week of therapeutic dance workshops for adult patients across six California DSH sites.
