The City of Milwaukee is seeking bids for the Roosevelt Drive Traffic Safety Improvement project, which involves extensive pavement and utility work on a corridor from W. Burleigh St. to W. Capitol Dr. • Variable‑thickness asphaltic concrete pavement, 8″ concrete pavements, concrete speed table, traffic island, curb & gutter, and extensive pavement markings. • Demolition and removal of existing pavement, markings, and structures, followed by installation of new concrete elements, asphalt resurfacing, gravel filling, sodding, topsoil, planting, and sewer/water work. • Project must be completed by September 30 2026; bid deadline is May 26 2026 with a 10 % bid bond requirement. • SMWBE participation of 25 % is required; LSA participation 0 %; apprenticeship participation 0 %. • Expected contract value is in the multi‑million‑dollar range, covering labor, materials, equipment, and related services.
