Description
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified businesses capable of providing deep cycle batteries. The required features and specifications include AGM deep cycle 12 V dc batteries with M6 or M8 threaded inserts, nominal capacity amp hours, and weight limits. Interested parties must submit a brochure and/or technical specifications detailing their ability to meet the required features and specifications.
• The minimum requirements include two types of batteries: one with a capacity of ~35Ahr and dimensions of 7" x 5.25" x 7.75", and another with a capacity of ~100Ahr and dimensions of 9" x 6.75" x 13".
• The batteries must have a weight limit of 25lbs for the ~35Ahr battery and 75lbs for the ~100Ahr battery.
